Former health resort camp "Vostok" sold at auction

The unused children's health resort "Vostok", located 15 kilometers from Vitebsk in a picturesque area near Lake Beloye, has found a new owner. The facility has been idle since 2018.

The resort includes dormitories for 160 people, a canteen for 180 people, a medical block, a club, a library, a football field, volleyball and basketball courts, and its own equipped beach. The territory covers 3500 sq.m.

In recent years, the "Vostok" health resort was put up for auction 18 times, but no buyers were found.

As a result, on April 25, at an auction with an 80% reduction in the sale price, it was sold to a single buyer – a sports organization from the city of Vitebsk.

The transaction amount was 230 thousand rubles.

In the future, the resort will continue to be used as a sports and health center.

In total, since the beginning of the year, the committee has conducted 45 successful auctions totaling almost 2 million rubles.

The committee has already scheduled 90 auctions for the sale of unused state property for May."
