BZD will simplify ticket purchase through self-service terminals at the stations of Minsk and Vitebsk

БЖД упростит покупку билетов через терминалы самообслуживания на вокзалах Минска и Витебска

In February, Belarusian Railway will simplify the process of issuing travel documents through self-service terminals at the railway stations in Minsk and Vitebsk. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of Belarusian Railway.

In the near future, Belarusian Railway plans to install a new version of the software with an optimized travel document issuance process on all self-service payment and information terminals. Currently, its testing is being completed on one of the devices at the Minsk-Passazhirsky station.

The main difference of the new software version is the reduction in the number of steps required to purchase a ticket through the terminal from 10-15 to 4-6.

The press service recalled that the service of selling travel documents through self-service devices was first introduced in January 2012. Currently, payment and information terminals operate at two stations of the Belarusian railway - Minsk-Passazhirsky and Vitebsk. With their help, you can purchase tickets for city line trains and regional economy-class trains.

The service is available to holders of payment cards from all Belarusian banks. At the same time, no commission fee is charged when purchasing tickets through the terminals.

Specialists informed that Belarusian Railway plans to further expand the system of selling travel documents through self-service terminals using bank payment cards.
