From July 1, the procedure for receiving pensions and benefits will change in Belarus

Only through banks will pensions be paid to citizens under 70 years of age, with the exception of persons with disabilities of groups I and II, residing in Minsk, cities of regional subordination, and district centers. Also, benefits for families raising children, appointed by social protection authorities, will be paid only through banks.

– Recipients of benefits who have disabilities of groups I and II, citizens over 70 years of age, and recipients of benefits where a child with a disability under 18 years of age is being raised in the family, are given the right to choose: to receive benefits through a bank or by mail, – explained Irina Golodyuk, First Deputy Chairperson of the Committee for Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Regional Executive Committee.
