The team of the Chashniki District Department for Emergency Situations of the Vitebsk Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations won the team event at the republican cross-country skiing competitions among city and district departments of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, which concluded today in Vitebsk. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the press service of the regional directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Chashniki rescuers managed to confirm their title of the fastest skiers among the ministry's units, which they have won for the second year in a row. At the concluded tournament, the team became the best based on the results of the 4x5 km relay, and in the individual race, the Chashniki "tandem" left no chances to their rivals - Vladislav Radchenko, as last year, became the winner again, and his colleague Alexander Sarafanikov took second place. Vadim Kurs from the Logoisk District Department for Emergency Situations of the Minsk Regional Directorate became the bronze medalist of the competition in the individual event. In the team event, the Chashniki skiers outpaced the teams of the Partizansky District Department for Emergency Situations (Minsk City Directorate) and the Mogilev City Department for Emergency Situations, which took second and third places, respectively. The past races were a kind of prologue to the final skiing event of the season - the Ministry of Emergency Situations championship among regional directorates, which will be held in Vitebsk from January 25 to 28. -0-
