The BFSO "Dynamo" cross-country skiing championship will be held in Novopolotsk on February 17-18

About 50 strongest athletes will take part in the Belarusian Physical Culture and Sports Association "Dynamo" Republican State-Public Association cross-country skiing championship, which will be held from February 17 to 18 in Novopolotsk. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Vitebsk Regional Organizational Structure "Dynamo". Racers from 8 teams representing the law enforcement agencies of Belarus, as well as the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the State Customs Committee, and the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, will start. Participants will determine the winners in 4 types of competitions. Men will compete in individual races of 5 km (age group over 40) and 10 km (under 40). Women will compete for victory in a 5 km race. The final event of the competition will be a 4x5 km relay race. Winners and prize-winners in individual and team standings will be awarded cups, medals, and valuable prizes. The championship will be held for the first time in Novopolotsk at the Novopolotsk Olympic Reserve School. According to the organizers, the infrastructure for holding such competitions is well-developed here, including the high quality of the ski track. The competitions are organized as part of the "Sports Brotherhood" Spartakiad of law enforcement agencies of the Belarusian Physical Culture and Sports Association "Dynamo". -0-
