The BFSO "Dynamo" cross-country skiing championship will be held in the Vitebsk region with the participation of 9 teams

February 16, Vitebsk / Sergey Kochetov - BELTA /. More than 60 athletes will compete in the Belarusian Physical Culture and Sports Association "Dynamo" cross-country skiing championship, which will be held from February 17 to 19 in Gorodok (Vitebsk region). This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Vitebsk Regional Organizational Structure of "Dynamo". The strongest skiers from 9 teams representing law enforcement agencies, the prosecutor's office, and the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus will compete on the track in the picturesque tract of Vorobyovy Gory of the Gorodok Children and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve. Participants will determine the winners in 4 types of competitions. Men will compete in individual races of 5 km (age group over 40) and 10 km (under 40). Women will compete for victory in a 5 km race. The final event of the competition will be a 4x5 km relay race, with one of its stages being for women. Winners and prize-winners in individual and team standings will be awarded cups, medals, and valuable prizes. The cross-country skiing championship will open the annual Spartakiad of law enforcement agencies "Sports Brotherhood-2010" of the Belarusian Physical Culture and Sports Association "Dynamo", the results of which will be summarized at the end of the year based on the performance of teams from government bodies - members of the Belarusian Physical Culture and Sports Association "Dynamo" in various sports. -0-
