The honoring of the best police families in Belarus will become an annual event
October 14, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. The honoring of the best police families will become a good tradition of the Belarusian internal affairs bodies and will be held annually. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Information and Public Relations Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Internal Affairs Directorate, with reference to the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs - Head of the Main Personnel Directorate, Anatoly Kurilets.
Today, on Mother's Day, the final of the republican campaign "Family! We Serve Together!" was held in Polotsk. Following its results, for the first time in Belarus, the strongest, most friendly, and most hardworking police families were named. Eleven married couples were awarded certificates of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and valuable gifts. Among them are Dmitry and Inna Mikhalevich from Minsk, Sergey and Tatyana Kozhukh from the Vitebsk region, who serve together in the difficult police service. However, even if the wife does not wear shoulder straps, she still shares the concerns of her husband, the Ministry of Internal Affairs is confident. For example, in the Rudenok family from Gomel, the husband Vadim serves in the internal affairs bodies, and his wife Oksana, a vocational lyceum director, initiated the creation of a student volunteer squad that actively participates in maintaining public order.
Multichild police families deserve special respect. It turns out that it is not so difficult to perform one's duty with dignity, raise five sons, and grow a young orchard of 200 trees, as Major of Police Andrey Kumko and his wife, Captain of Police Ekaterina Kumko from the Grodno region, do, if love and respect reign in the house. But in the Lapitsky family, the keeper of the hearth, Captain Marina Lapitskaya, serves in the police. And her husband Viktor and their five talented children help her to carry out service that is difficult even for men.
The "Family! We Serve Together!" campaign was held throughout August-October. Its main goal was to strengthen police families, maintain a healthy moral and psychological climate in the teams, and foster their cohesion. During this time, various events were held in all internal affairs bodies, in which both adults and children took part. Heads of regional departments and territorial police departments met with the families of their subordinates, and mothers of the best employees were awarded letters of gratitude. Veterans of the service and relatives of police officers who died in the line of duty were not overlooked. For young artists - children of police officers, the Ministry of Internal Affairs held a competition, the theme of which was the service of parents. The winners of this competition also came to Polotsk for the award ceremony. -0-
