Four residents of the Miory district attempted to export 3.5 tons of meat to Russia

Four residents of the Miory district attempted to export carcasses of cattle weighing a total of 3.5 tons to Russia without proper documents, the press center of the State Border Committee of Belarus informed BELTA. According to preliminary data, the villagers planned to resell the cargo in Russia. The goods and the vehicle have been handed over to the police.

An investigation is underway. Brest border guards, together with customs officers, discovered 200 packs of pyrotechnics under the seats while inspecting the Zabolotye - Brest train, which was traveling to Belarus from Ukraine. The goods, valued at Br8 million, have been handed over to customs.
