The number of participants in the exhibition-fair "Small Business in Festival Vitebsk" has doubled

The exposition of the X Republican exhibition-fair "Small Business in Festival Vitebsk" has been formed with the participation of about 60 enterprises from various regions of Belarus. This was announced today to journalists by Valentin Tsvetkov, Head of the Entrepreneurship Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Economics Committee, at the opening of the exhibition project, according to a BELTA correspondent. This year, the number of exhibition participants has almost doubled compared to 2009, which indicates the growing popularity of the project. The organizers have the opportunity to present the best domestic producers in the small and medium-sized business segment. The exhibition site is deployed in the epicenter of the "Slavianski Bazaar" festival, which allows participants to showcase their products and achievements to a wide range of potential buyers, including many guests of the festival city. The theme of the exhibition has retained its traditional focus. The exposition features consumer goods, including textile and knitwear, home and interior goods, tableware, crystal, leather goods, souvenirs, and cosmetics. Judging by the products on display, the project participants are focused on winning the trust of the female audience. The business program of the exhibition includes business meetings and round tables dedicated to the development of small and medium-sized businesses, including support for rural entrepreneurship. The exhibition is designed to promote the development of a competitive environment, stimulate the development of cooperation between domestic and foreign small businesses, and create conditions for domestic producers to enter markets in ближнего and дальнего зарубежья. The organizers of the event are the Department for Entrepreneurship of the Ministry of Economy of Belarus, the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, and the communal consulting unitary enterprise "Vitebsk Regional Marketing Center".-0-
