ChPTUP "Vitstroytekmash" will be the first in Belarus to produce auto-hydraulic lifts with a lifting height of 32 meters.
Currently, the Vitebsk hoisting and transport equipment plant has mastered 4 models of truck-mounted aerial platforms – with lifting heights of 16, 18, and 20 meters, and at the end of last year, a machine with a reduced height of 12 meters was produced. But the team has a new goal ahead – 32 meters. The prototype is planned to be manufactured in February, and by the end of the year, it will be put into serial production.
– This model is complex because it belongs to a completely different technological line, has different characteristics, and few enterprises, even in Russia, produce it.
We will be the first in Belarus. As with the production of other VIPO series aerial platforms, we intend to use high-strength structural steels from DOMEX (Sweden) and Italian hydraulic systems, which allow reducing the dimensions and weight of the structure by 30-40 percent, maintaining all load-lifting characteristics, and mounting our units on the chassis of domestic and imported vehicles. The new lifting special equipment will be in demand by construction and road services, housing and communal services, energy companies, telecommunications specialists, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, not only in our republic but also in other countries, – is confident the General Director of ChPTUP "Vitstroytehmash" Andrey Sidorov.
The development of innovative products and the expansion of production also necessitate moving into new areas. Incidentally, this aspect is covered by the enterprise's current modernization program. Production facilities of 7,000 square meters have already been purchased on Beshenkovichi Highway, near the oil depot, which have remained unfinished and unused for many years. The enterprise is ready to invest considerable own and borrowed funds to complete the buildings, modernize them, purchase modern equipment, and launch the serial production of the aforementioned 32-meter lift there. Some other workshops will also be relocated here. As a result, a whole plant will be created. It is planned to implement this project within two years.
