The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Moldova to Belarus visited the Glubokoye district
At a meeting with the Chairman of the District Executive Committee Oleg Morhat, the Chairman of the District Council of Deputies Galina Unukovich, and heads of city enterprises, Victor Sorochan noted the need to strengthen mutually beneficial relations between the regions of Belarus and Moldova, cultural ties, and increase tourist flow. Perhaps, in the near future, Glubokoye will have a twin city in Moldova.
– Our countries are similar in many ways, which is why it is so important to build closer bridges of friendship, – emphasized Victor Sorochan. – In four months, as the head of Moldova's diplomatic mission, I have visited the regional centers of Belarus and dozens of cities. In recent years, trade between the countries has decreased, one of the reasons being insufficient information about each other. The implementation of joint projects, the exchange of experience in solving important issues, including those related to the production and processing of agricultural products, will yield positive results. One of the promising areas is the creation of export-oriented production facilities.
The Chairman of the Glubokoye District Executive Committee, Oleg Morhat, noted the specificity of the agricultural district with processing enterprises whose high-quality products are in high demand in domestic and foreign markets. For example, OJSC "Glubokoye MKК" offers a wide range of products. The share of exports in the total production volume exceeds 60%.
Victor Sorochan visited the enterprise and toured the workshop where dairy products are manufactured. Modern equipment guarantees the quality of the manufactured products. The guest's attention was drawn to the colorful and convenient packaging of the sweet delicacy.
– We have been cooperating with a confectionery company from Moldova for over six years, – says **Valery Dulinsky, General Director of the dairy canning plant**. – The possibility of supplying to the retail chain also sparked interest. We are ready to offer sterilized condensed milk, including with various types of fillings, a line of hard cheeses with a fat content of 45-55% and ripening periods from 20 days to 3 months, and other dairy products to foreign buyers.
Valery Bronislavovich informed Viktor Sorochana about a large-scale investment project for the construction and modernization of a workshop for the production of dry whey and dry milk products. This will allow the production of demineralized dry whey (up to 90%) and dry instant lecithinated milk on one technological line, which will increase the export potential of the enterprise.
The ambassador also liked the finished products of OJSC "Gluboksky Meat Processing Plant", in particular, air-dried sausages, which are in short supply in his country's market. Every day, the plant's employees produce over 20 tons of sausages, 3-5 tons of semi-finished products, and about 86 tons of meat on the bone.
Viktor Sorochana promised to study the price list provided by the enterprise's management and to assist in establishing cooperation with Moldovan colleagues.
In the near future, the Glubokoye residents plan to restart the production of juices and canned green peas in the workshops of the old cannery. These areas are also of interest to the Moldovans, as is the organization of joint winemaking productions.
On the same day, Viktor Sorochana visited the state enterprise "Podsvilsky Winery" and the sanatorium-resort complex "Plissa", which is an excellent example of a competent combination of unique nature and modern health and treatment technologies, including the use of mineral water and sapropelic organic mud. Such facilities attract the attention of foreign tourists.
