Daria KAPSHUL: "National symbols must be treated with immense respect"

Дарья КАПШУЛЬ: "К национальной символике нельзя относиться без огромного уважения"
Darya KAPSHUL, First Secretary of the Glubokoye District Committee of the NGO "BRSM", delegate of the VII All-Belarusian People's Congress:

— National symbols must be treated with immense respect. In moments of triumph, be it in sports or music, our flag proudly flies above the winners. I would like to note that at all events organized by our organization, the country's flag is displayed. We try to incorporate its colors even in small details. For example, for the celebration of May 9th, we are preparing an interactive platform for youth, and for children, we buy candies in red and green packaging. We create original boutonnieres using red and green colors. The goal is to showcase our traditional state symbols and colors through various forms, to remind people of all ages about them again.

During the All-Belarusian People's Congress, the lapel pin and certificate of each delegate were also adorned with the symbols of the national coat of arms and flag. The stage during the concert "The Time Has Chosen Us!" was decorated in the unified style of the holiday. In such details, we can trace the unifying thread, patriotism, and respect for our country. This stands in contrast to the attempts in 2020 to destroy everything that is dear to us. By the way, the "Rodnoye-Narodnoye" project, aimed at popularizing our symbols, was born in BRSM after these events.

Another vivid example. A representative from our district, Oksana Protas, secretary of the primary organization of BRSM of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties for the Glubokoye District, participated in the World Youth Festival in Sochi in 2024. Of course, as a true patriot, Oksana brought a large banner of our flag so that everyone could see which country she came from. According to her feedback, this evoked only positive emotions among the forum participants.
