Gifts of autumn – to every home. In Polotsk, fruits and vegetables are delivered to all microdistricts.

Daily mobile trade of fruit and vegetable products has been organized in the microdistricts of Polotsk. Potatoes will be delivered directly to the entrances of apartment buildings upon citizens' orders.

— We have a well-established system for covering all territories. We strive to ensure that every family can easily stock up on autumn's bounty, — explained Natalya Shantoritskaya, Head of the Trade and Services Department of the Polotsk District Executive Committee.

She noted that last year, trade organizations delivered potatoes to courtyards, as a rule, towards the end of the working day, when people start returning home. This practice proved to be effective, so it was decided to continue it. This method was particularly successful in microdistricts with many young families, who appreciated the opportunity to save time on delivery.

Daily sales of fruit and vegetable products in the city's microdistricts will be held until the end of October. In the Polotsk district, it is planned to store 1080 tons of potatoes for winter storage to supply residents and institutions during the off-season period.

On October 17, according to Natalya Vladimirovna, an expanded fair for the sale of agricultural, meat and dairy products, and other consumer goods will be held in Polotsk. Trade organizations from Ushachi, Postavy, Glubokoye, and other nearby districts have been invited to participate.

And as part of the district "Dazhynki" festival, a sale of own-produced goods was organized. The entire city was covered by festive trade. In the Aeroport microdistrict, the Polotsk Dairy Plant presented and offered tastings of its products. On Marinenko Street, representatives of Private Unitary Enterprise "Polimir-Agro", public catering, and the agricultural division of Open Joint Stock Company "Polotsk-Steklovolokno" were located. In the center of Polotsk, where the largest number of enterprises and organizations concentrated their efforts, thematic areas "Bread Festival" and "Autumn Potato Kingdom" operated.

— We sold a ton of potatoes right away and brought another 2.5 tons, _ said Valentina Bulova, leading merchandiser of the city procurement office of Vitebsk OOPS. _ We buy vegetables from the population. People know that the products are high-quality, homemade, and they sell well.

Queues also lined up near the stall of Polotsk RAIPO. Beautiful apples, cranberries rich in healing properties, as well as tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, potatoes, cabbage _ everything was in high demand. And the stand of the specialized potato-growing farm "Kushliki" turned out to be perhaps the most popular. Here, 15 tons of the second bread were sold in half a day, and everyone was treated to freshly prepared draniki, kletski, pies, and heartfelt songs performed by artists of the folk ensemble "Verbichenka".
