He conveyed this pleasant pre-New Year's news to a BELTA correspondent through the ideological work department of the Polotsk District Executive Committee. The fairytale grandfather, along with his granddaughter Snegurochka, did not limit themselves to one wholesale warehouse of joy and New Year's fun, but opened 17 retail outlets in all agro-towns and large villages of the district. They operate on the basis of Houses of Culture. In the first half of the day, Ded Moroz himself meets his guests and gives them a good mood for their kind smiles, and after lunch, he goes to congratulate the villagers at their homes. Residents of remote villages will not be left without attention either - Ded Moroz promised to visit everyone. It is worth noting that, unlike their urban counterparts, who have commercialized their activities, the Polotsk Ded Moroz and Snegurochka selflessly visit with good wishes and gifts. Local public organizations "Belaya Rus", the branch of the Peace Fund, and the veterans' organization helped the New Year's heroes to purchase gifts.
