A delegation of youth from the Vitebsk region took part in the opening ceremony of the International Youth Educational Forum "Selias-2013" in Astrakhan

The forum brought together young people from Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Iran, and 11 regions of Russia. A total of over 300 people stayed at the Azimut Hotel, the territory of which became an educational platform.

At the grand opening on September 13, participants of the forum heard welcoming remarks from the Governor of the Astrakhan Region, Alexander Zhilkin, who, according to the program, will communicate with guests one of these days.

The delegation from the Vitebsk region consists of creative, thoughtful, and purposeful young people, 16 representatives from universities and organizations in Vitebsk, PSU, Orsha, Braslav, and Sharkovshchina. All were divided into training tracks. Participants in the "Business and Innovation" track will meet with leading business experts and present their projects at an investment session, which promises investors to implement the most interesting ideas. The "Ecology" track will provide an opportunity to visit Astrakhan enterprises with organized ecological production, a fish farm, and see the natural wealth of the Astrakhan land. Participants in the "Creativity" track will attend master classes in theater, cinema, photography, and vocals. The program for the "International Relations" track promises to be no less eventful, where it will be proven that not only politics but also a healthy lifestyle can unite people.

On Saturday, Vitebsk region presented itself at the "International Living Room" exhibition, where young people told the forum participants about the potential of the Dvina region, its traditions and modernity, and its attractiveness for investors and tourists. The forum will last until September 18.
