The delegation of the Vitebsk region took part in the forum of patriotic forces "This is our history"

Representatives of various public organizations, enterprises, youth and veterans, and city activists – over 200 people – headed from Vitebsk to Minsk for the patriotic forum "This is Our History," which will take place today at the Minsk-Arena venue. Approximately 9,000 people took part in the event, arriving as part of delegations from all regions of the republic and Minsk.

– This patriotic forum has become a bright conclusion to the solemn events that took place across the country on the eve of the Day of National Unity. The organizers prepared the event in the format of a costumed historical show, which will chronologically tell about the history and development of Belarus. This holiday has united representatives from all regions of our native Belarus, – shared Zhanna Cherkunova, Deputy Chairperson of the Vitebsk District Executive Committee.

Artyom Kosachev, a 3rd-year student at VSU named after P. M. Masherov: "This is my first time participating in such a grandiose event of republican scale. The holiday is still quite young, and this is an occasion to reflect on the significance of memory and the history of our country, on the fact that the silencing of its pages is never without consequences, and that it is important to know the truth."

Actors from theaters and cinema, and many others took part in the event. The main thread, running through the entire program, will be the theme of national unity through the prism of different periods and events of national history, presented by leading artists, performers of Belarus, young talents, finalists of the "X Factor Belarus" project, and representatives of the regions and Minsk, as well as vocal and choreographic ensembles.

– Our country celebrated the Day of National Unity. A holiday that confirms the cohesion of our people, their confidence in a common idea and their aspiration for a peaceful tomorrow. Our Belarus is multinational and multi-confessional, but we are all united in our love for our native Belarus, its values, and our desire to live in our country – peaceful, calm, and independent. I am participating in the forum of patriotic forces "This is Our History" in Minsk for the first time. It can be confidently said that the atmosphere at Minsk-Arena will allow everyone here or watching on TV to feel the spirit of unity and friendship.
