The "Vitebsk-City" Business Center and the Palace of Marriage Registration are planned to be built in Vitebsk
July 16, Vitebsk / Sergei Kochetov - BELTA /. The "Vitebsk-City" business center, multifunctional complexes, and a Palace of Weddings are planned to be built in Vitebsk. Vitaly Dubik, chief architect of the regional center, told a BELTA correspondent about this. The draft design projects are presented for the first time at the international investment forum, which concludes its work in Vitebsk today.
A land plot of about 30 hectares for the development of the "Vitebsk-City" business center is planned to be allocated in one of the central parts of the city. It will house office buildings, including high-rise ones, as well as entertainment and recreation facilities. In addition, the business center includes the construction of residential buildings. Currently, a military unit is located on this site, which is planned to be relocated to the outskirts of the city, Vitaly Dubik added.
The Palace of Weddings will be built in the historical part of the city on Millennium Square. The investment proposal provides for the construction of a multifunctional two-story building with a total area of almost 1.5 thousand square meters. In addition to the solemn registration of marriages, the project provides for a full range of related services. Thus, the building will house salons for newlyweds, where they can purchase all the necessary goods and accessories for the celebration, order a wedding cortege, and also hold a festive evening in the banquet hall. In addition, a viewing platform with beautiful views of the embankment and the Millennium Park, which smoothly flows into the Park of Winners, is planned. The Annunciation Church, where future newlyweds can perform the sacrament of marriage, is located in close proximity to the construction site. A monument to Alexander Nevsky is also planned to be erected here.
The City Executive Committee also invites investors to participate in the construction of two sports and entertainment centers, each with an area of about 10 thousand square meters. One of these centers is planned to be located in a residential microdistrict at the intersection of Chkalov and Voini-Internatsionalistov streets, and the other on the bank of the Luchosa River. Both complexes are to be three-story and maximally equipped with social infrastructure facilities, including for physical education, recreation and entertainment, as well as retail spaces. -0-
