Business circles of the Vitebsk region and Japan discussed cooperation on the modernization of Belarusian enterprises

13-16 November, a visit to Tokyo was made by a delegation of business circles of the Vitebsk region, headed by Yuri Pchelko, Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Belarusian delegation took part in a seminar-presentation of Belarus in the Parliament of Japan, during which Japanese parliamentarians and representatives of Japanese business were acquainted with the investment, export, technological, and tourism potential of the republic.

Specific areas of interaction in the trade and economic sphere, as well as cooperation in the modernization of Belarusian enterprises, were discussed in Tokyo by the delegation of business circles of the Vitebsk region with representatives of Japanese business circles. The Belarusian delegation took part in a seminar-presentation of Belarus in the Parliament of Japan, during which Japanese parliamentarians and representatives of Japanese business were acquainted with the investment, export, technological, and tourism potential of the republic. "During their stay in Tokyo, representatives of Belarus visited the Agro-Innovation Japan 2012 agricultural technology exhibition. Based on the results of the visit, agreements were reached that will allow for the activation of contacts between enterprises of the Vitebsk region and Japanese partners," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized.
