Belarus Culture Day will be held today at the Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk

Thus, the exhibition hall "Dukhovskoy Kruglik" will host the exhibition "Through History to Modernity". The House of Cinema will feature the feature film "Ryzhik in the Looking-Glass" and the documentary film "Bazaar Century" of Belarusian production. The "Vitebsk" Concert Hall will host a presentation of a contemporary art exhibition (Belarus, Latvia, Russia, Ukraine), the Art Museum will offer visitors the author's project by Olga and Andrey Smolyak "Living Pictures", and the Yakub Kolas Theater will host "Theater Meetings-2011".

The culmination of Belarus Culture Day at the "Slavianski Bazaar" will be a gala concert of Belarusians from abroad, which will be held at the "Vitebsk" Concert Hall. Masters of arts of Belarus will delight the audience with their performances: Isku Abalyan, Alesya, Inna Afanasieva, Venera, Larisa Gribaleva, Irina Dorofeeva, Irina Ignatyuk, Yakov Naumenko, Pavel Nevmerzhitsky, Sasha Nemo, Yadviga Poplavskaya and Alexander Tihanovich, Alexander Solodukha, Natalia Tamelo, Vladimir Ukhtinsky, Alexey Khlestov, Anna Sharkunova, Anatoly Yarmolenko and the ensemble "Syabry", the state ensemble "Pesniary", the ensemble "Biseda", the art group "Belarusy", the groups DaVinci, "Drozdý", Palladium electric band.

Within the framework of the festival, the second meeting of the Consultative Council for Affairs of Belarusians Abroad under the Ministry of Culture will be held today in Vitebsk. The meeting will discuss issues of cooperation in the fields of culture, education, information, tourism, and the possibilities of implementing specific projects.-0-
