Youth Day at "Slavianski Bazaar" reveals the potential of young generations of Belarusians – Nikolai Sherstnev
The solemn opening ceremony of Youth Day took place today in festival Vitebsk. Representatives of regional and city authorities, the Ministry of Education, public organizations, honored guests, including from the Russian Federation, and local residents became participants in the official start of the project.
According to **Nikolai Cherstnev, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee**, at events with young people, one recalls their childhood, youth, and young adulthood:
- I remember how we were told: time will fly by quickly, and the future belongs to the youth. Today, we tell you exactly the same. Our dear youth, boys and girls! The years will fly by very quickly. The future is yours. What it will be depends only on you. You are a reflection of our country.
Belarus is raising a worthy generation, and new generations will undoubtedly multiply the achievements of their parents, grandfathers, and great-grandfathers, Nikolai Cherstnev is convinced:
- The youth in Belarus are interesting, educated, decent, intellectual, cultured, and athletic. This is all you, the pride of our country. And Youth Day reveals the potential of the young generations of Belarusians.
The Minister of Education of Belarus, Igor Karpenko, welcomed the participants of Youth Day and their projects on the Vitebsk land with great pleasure and joy. He expressed confidence that all youth platforms that opened today as part of the project are interesting and attractive, and participation in Youth Day at "Slavyansky Bazaar" will contribute to inspiration and the emergence of new creative ideas among young people.
The events of Youth Day at the festival are not limited to one day, emphasized the **Director of the Directorate of "Slavyansky Bazaar in Vitebsk"**Gleb Lapitsky:
