Youth Day concludes the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk"

July 14, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. Youth Day concludes the XX International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk", reports a BELTA correspondent.

July 14 will open with a press conference with the participation of leaders of the BRSM youth organization. The participants will talk about the day's events, its goals, and the most interesting activities. The longest and brightest of them will be the I International Youth Festival "Fire of Dance-2011" under the motto "Everyone Dances!", which will take place on Victory Square after the patriotic event "Thank You for Life!". Here, within the framework of the sports and entertainment project "Youth FEST", dance, sports, graffiti, break-dance, and beatbox platforms will be launched. The guys will gladly demonstrate their skills and conduct master classes for everyone. The rich show will be accompanied by hourly prize drawings.

The award ceremony for the winners of the dance non-stop will take place in the evening, and immediately after it, a new creative competition will follow - a DJ music battle, which will last until late at night. Popular DJs and the best hosts of the youth format from various regions of Belarus will compete for the title of the best.

The guest of the last "Star Hour" at the current forum will be composer, director, and public figure Pavel Slobodkin. Also on this day, a minor intrigue of "Slavianski Bazaar" will be resolved: the names of the winners of the children's music competition "Vitebsk-2011" will be announced at the gala concert "Wonderland". Renat Ibragimov will perform with the program "Only the Best" at the regional philharmonic society, and a literary evening "Captive of the Author" by Alexander Filippenko will be held at the Yakub Kolas National Academic Drama Theatre.

Valery Meladze will delight his loyal fans with a solo concert in the Summer Amphitheater, and in the evening, a bright concert of the festival's grand closing will gather spectators here again. Laima Vaikule, Elena Vaenga, Tamara Gverdtsiteli, Larisa Dolina, winners of the adult and children's pop song contests, contemporary choreography theaters "D.O.Z.SK.I" (Belarus) and "Kyiv-Modern-Ballet", as well as other groups and performers will perform on stage.

The echoes of the anniversary forum will be heard in the Summer Amphitheater and in the following days: on July 15, concerts by Lyubov Uspenskaya and stars of "Shanson-TV" will take place here, and on July 16, Avraam Russo will have a solo concert.-0-
