A kindergarten for 200 children will open in Vitebsk
A kindergarten for 200 children will open in November in Vitebsk, the education department of the administration of the Pervomaisky District of Vitebsk reported.
The kindergarten has been built in the young Bilevo microdistrict. The preschool institution will house 11 groups, including a group for children with certain developmental disorders, as well as a short-stay group. It is planned that the latter will operate in two shifts (the first for children aged 3 to 6 years, the second from 1 to 3 years). This group is for toddlers who do not attend preschool institutions, but whose parents want them to gradually adapt to new conditions and integrate into the educational process.
"The new kindergarten is almost ready. Order is being established inside the premises, furniture is being delivered, landscaping of the territory is being completed, and equipment has been purchased. There will be a swimming pool, an art studio, an interactive classroom, sports, fitness, and music halls – all conditions for learning have been created. In addition, traffic safety and emergency rescue playgrounds will be located on the kindergarten's territory," the education department noted.
The new preschool institution will create 60-70 jobs. About 30 teachers will work with the children. The construction of a new school is also underway in the Bilevo microdistrict. It is planned to be commissioned in 2020.
