A kindergarten with a swimming pool and a sensory room has opened in Bilevo, Vitebsk

There are not many modern preschool institutions like Vitebsk kindergarten No. 113 in the Vitebsk region yet. But they will become more numerous every year, especially in new housing developments. This was stated by the region's leaders during the grand opening of kindergarten No. 113 "Vasilek" in the Bilevo microdistrict of the regional center. The event was attended by the Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Andreichenko.

This is the third preschool institution in the actively developing microdistrict, which is currently home to about 40,000 Vitebsk residents. It stands out from others even in its appearance: spacious, bright, with a huge number of playgrounds, decorated with a "Vasilek" light installation.

– Bilevo is a promising district, – noted Vladimir Andreichenko. – The opening of a new kindergarten is a long-awaited event for local residents. It is symbolic that this is happening on the eve of the October Revolution holiday, the main idea of which was social justice. This is relevant in our state. Members of parliament are currently considering the state budget for next year, which will increase allocations for the social sphere by 10-12%. This is a significant amount of funds.

The Chairman of the regional executive committee, Nikolai Sherstnev, added that the construction of educational institutions in the new microdistrict will continue.

– Next year, there will be nine more apartment buildings in Bilevo, – he said. – The microdistrict's child population grows by 900-1000 people annually, and there is a shortage of educational institutions, forcing many parents to take their children to kindergartens and schools far from home. We must solve this problem in the coming years by accelerating the construction of new kindergartens in Bilevo, commissioning the second school, and laying the foundation for the third.

The Chairman of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee, Viktor Nikolaikin, specified the exact commissioning dates for the new facilities: it is planned that by 2020, Bilevo will have one more kindergarten and a secondary school.

"Vasilek" is designed for 200 places, the customer of the construction is the enterprise "UKS of Vitebsk city", and the general contractor is "PlissaStroy" LLC.

Builders have utilized over 5.4 million rubles, and an additional 52 thousand rubles out of the planned 85 thousand have been spent on equipping the kindergarten.

According to specialists, the preschool institution is equipped with the latest technology, and innovative educational technologies will be implemented here.

Children have access to a swimming pool, a sports hall, a sensory room, an art studio, a music room, a computer class, a medical unit, and a separate short-stay group for children. A modern approach is evident even in the details: from the latest equipment in the kitchen and multi-boards to sterilizers and dryers for children's clothing.
