A dialogue platform for discussing the draft amendments and additions to the Constitution was held at the main department of education of the regional executive committee.

The event was attended by the President's Aide - Inspector for the Vitebsk Region, Anatoly Linevich. He drew the attention of those present to the need to delve into the nuances of the proposed innovations in detail, and then to hold similar meetings in pedagogical collectives so that people can make a decision at the upcoming referendum.
Anatoly Linevich emphasized that during the work on the text of amendments and additions, thousands of proposals from citizens of the country had to be considered. A huge amount of work has been done to systematize all the appeals.
— Today, the most important thing is to hear people's opinions, — the President's Aide is convinced. — There are changes, people should discuss them, make their proposals. The correct vision and understanding of what happened in history is precisely what is laid down in the Constitution, so that our children can understand how our state was born, how difficult this path was, what we have achieved in the end, and how we see the prospects.

The strengthening of the role of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly aroused interest in the team. Anatoly Konstantinovich emphasized that, first of all, this is not the creation of a new representative body, as opponents of the constitutional reform try to convince Belarusians. The All-Belarusian People's Assembly as a means of exercising true people's power has existed and functioned for more than one year. Therefore, it is proposed only to consolidate at the legislative level the powers that the All-Belarusian People's Assembly actually already performs. Its main task should be the development and approval of the country's development strategy for a five-year period.
Discussions were held on the development of blue-collar professions, particularly on the benefits of agro-classes, and the topic of social guarantees for large families was raised. Dmitry Khoma, Head of the Main Department for Education of the Regional Executive Committee, noted that the amended document enshrines the concept of marriage as a union of a man and a woman, and in general, the rights and obligations of spouses are more broadly defined. — This amendment is truly important, — said Dmitry Leonidovich. — Family, motherhood, fatherhood, and childhood are under the protection of the state — this is a norm enshrined at the level of the country's Basic Law. Yes, there are isolated countries where same-sex marriages are legalized, but why should we, Belarusians, take Denmark or Sweden as a model? Belarus is a unique country with its own culture and traditions. I am convinced that many members of our society, like myself, are categorically against the legalization of same-sex marriages.
According to Anatoly Linevich, the dialogue was productive: the staff actively participated in discussions and asked questions of interest.
— This indicates that Belarusians not only demand something from the state but are also ready to participate in the fate of their country, take responsibility for themselves, their loved ones, and their state, — the President's Aide summarized.
