Diplomats from around 20 countries gathered in Orsha to discuss prospects for business and cultural cooperation
The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which makes a significant contribution to expanding the geography of business and cultural contacts between states and strengthening Belarus's image in the foreign market, acted as the organizer of the visit to the northern region of our country. The trip to Orsha was one of the steps on this path.
Among the participants were diplomatic missions from Great Britain, Vietnam, Israel, China, Japan, Iran, Cuba, Sudan, Romania, Ecuador, and other countries. The delegation included deputy heads of missions, trade advisors, assistants to ambassadors, trade attachés, experts, as well as representatives of international organizations.
As reported by UP "Vitebsk Branch of the BelCCI", the program of the Trade Advisor's Day was intensive. In addition, a tasting of products from local manufacturers was organized: dairy and canned meat plants, the "Sladkaya Strana" branch of the "Vitba" confectionery plant, the "Orsha Bakery" branch of OJSC "Vitebskhlebprom", and others. Then, the diplomats were introduced to modern production at the Orsha Flax Mill and products made from "Belarusian silk".
The business part of the Trade Advisor's Day was complemented by an extensive cultural program: laying flowers at the eternal flame at the Mound of Glory in Orsha, visiting the museum complex of history and culture, Yanka Kupala's dacha in Levki, the House of Crafts in Kopys, and participating in the unique festival "Alexandria Gathers Friends".
