Directive No. 4 will help entrepreneurship become a full participant in economic processes - businessman

Directive No. 4 "On the Development of Entrepreneurial Initiative and Stimulation of Business Activity in the Republic of Belarus" will help private business become a full participant in economic processes. This point of view was expressed in a conversation with a BELTA correspondent by Nikolai Martynov, General Director of SOOO "Marko", member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus. Entrepreneurship is the reserve that will help Belarus maintain the social orientation of its economy and integrate into the global economic system, the entrepreneur is convinced. As the owner of one of the largest private footwear companies, Nikolai Martynov, along with other members of the business community, took part in preparing proposals for Directive No. 4. According to him, the document incorporated a number of conceptual proposals formulated by entrepreneurs themselves. In particular, it declared a transition to market pricing mechanisms, the exclusion of state administration bodies' interference in the pricing process of business entities, the elimination of bureaucratic obstacles between state bodies and business, and a guarantee of the preservation of property rights. It is also important that the state is changing tax legislation to encourage the conscientious fulfillment of tax obligations. The practical implementation of Directive No. 4 will now depend on its implementation mechanism. As Nikolai Martynov noted, the business community and the parliamentary corps are actively working on preparing proposals for the development of such mechanisms. "Directive No. 4 will also contribute to establishing a dialogue between business and the state," the interlocutor emphasized. -0-
