Directive No. 4 will help stimulate entrepreneurs' innovative activities - expert
January 6, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. Stimulating healthy competition and minimizing state regulation of private business will help develop entrepreneurs' innovative activities. This point of view was expressed in a conversation with a BELTA correspondent by the director of the private production and trade unitary enterprise "Vitstroytehmash" Andrei Sidorov, commenting on Directive No. 4 "On the Development of Entrepreneurial Initiative and Stimulation of Business Activity in the Republic of Belarus".
According to the interlocutor, the document clearly defines the basic principles of relations between the state and private business: "competition - wherever possible, state regulation - where necessary". The implementation of this statement in practice will contribute to the liberation of business initiative, the introduction of new technologies and innovative projects. "A private production enterprise can exist, pay decent wages to its employees only if it masters advanced technologies and cooperates with science, but for this it needs a certain degree of economic freedom," believes Andrei Sidorov.
The interlocutor considers the most important point of Directive No. 4 for supporting entrepreneurship to be the provision of a preventive nature to control activities and ensure the protection of the right of managers of business entities to business risk.
The private production and trade unitary enterprise "Vitstroytehmash" was established in 2004 and specializes in the maintenance and repair of all types of truck-mounted aerial platforms and lifts, the manufacture of critical metal structures and assemblies, and the production of construction equipment. Currently, "Vitstroytehmash" is implementing an investment project for the production of a truck-mounted aerial platform made of high-strength structural steel, which has no analogues produced in Belarus. Despite the fact that the enterprise only began mass production of the new product in December 2010, both Belarusian and Russian buyers have shown interest in its acquisition. -0-
