The director of a state institution in Vitebsk renovated an apartment with the help of subordinates

July 8, Vitebsk / Sergey Kochetov - BELTA /. The director of a state institution in Vitebsk repaired an apartment by illegally involving his subordinates in the work. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Department of Financial Investigations of the Vitebsk Oblast Control Committee. Two employees of the state institution were actually absent from their workplace for more than two months. Their "absences" were sanctioned by the director. The head of the institution used his subordinates to repair an apartment registered in his wife's name. At the same time, the employees regularly received salaries at their main place of work in a state structure funded by the budget. A criminal case has been initiated on this fact under Part 2 of Article 424 of the Criminal Code of Belarus ("Abuse of power or official authority"). During the investigation, the details of the accused's work history will be studied in order to identify possible abuses of a similar nature. -0-
