As an official, the 36-year-old head of a Minsk limited liability company concluded an agreement with the Vetrino Housing and Communal Services enterprise for the supply of 122.5 tons of M-100 fuel oil worth over Br93 million. However, instead of fuel, the unscrupulous director supplied 122.5 tons of oil emulsion, the price of which was Br21.3 million. A criminal case has been initiated against the director for embezzlement through abuse of office, committed on a particularly large scale, under Part 4 of Article 210 of the Criminal Code of Belarus, which provides for up to 12 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property and deprivation of the right to hold certain positions. -0-
