– Our enterprise is part of the "MTZ-HOLDING" holding and one of the flagships of domestic tractor manufacturing. Today, we employ about 500 people, and you won't see a single one of them protesting in the squares. Because our factory workers are, first and foremost, a team of like-minded individuals who clearly understand their main task. It is to work without downtime, thereby ensuring not only the needs of our customers but also the future – their own and their families', – notes Oleg Shimchenko, Director of OJSC "Vitebsk Tractor Spare Parts Plant".
The average salary at the enterprise is around 1300 rubles, and since September, we have increased the tariff rate of the 1st category by 12 percent. We are not going to stop. Business relationships have been established, including with foreign partners from 24 countries of near and far abroad. We export products worth $360–450 thousand monthly. We are fighting for the quality of products, for their competitiveness, and therefore for the image and business reputation of the plant. The responsibility for ensuring that production lives, develops, and that we have confidence in the future lies not only with the management but also with absolutely every employee. People come up to me and say directly: we don't need any strikes or disruptions. So I believe that together we will definitely cope!
