Tatsiana Adamyan, Director of the Lenin Regional Library, was awarded a Certificate of Honor of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus
Presenting the well-deserved award, the Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies, Vladimir Terentyev, emphasized that Tatyana Adamyan is a person in her rightful place, devotedly serving her beloved cause.

– The fact that in recent years the regional library has become a temple not only of books but of culture as a whole is primarily the merit of its head, who managed to unite the team. I will say what Tatyana Nikolaevna lacks – money. Today, there are no longer the same financial flows, yet the library has significantly transformed, acquired modern features, and implements interesting projects that are recognized throughout the republic, – noted the head of the region's deputy corps.

The Head of the Department of Culture of the Regional Executive Committee, Petr Podgursky, drew attention to Tatyana Adamyan's qualities such as inexhaustible energy and the drive to move forward.
The Vitebsk Library has repeatedly been recognized as the best in Belarus in various areas of activity. One of the latest examples is winning the republican competition in the nomination "Best Interactive Library Project of Patriotic Theme" for the creation of the database "Liberation of Vitebsk Region. 1943–1944”.

The Chairperson of the Regional Organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Cultural, Information, Sports and Tourism Workers, Elena Sabirova, spoke about close partnership, primarily with its leadership, and presented Tatyana Adamyan with an Honorary Diploma from the trade union.
For active educational, research, and local history activities, and for her personal contribution to the development of library services, Tatyana Adamyan was awarded the Honorary Title "Person of the Year of Vitebsk Region-2019".

Tatyana Adamyan has been the director of the regional library since 2014. Under her leadership, databases of her own generation have been created and continue to be updated. The most in-demand resources are those of a local history focus: "Afghanistan. No Right to Forget," "Artists of the Vitebsk Region," "Person of the Year of the Vitebsk Region," "Pridvinny Krai: History and Modernity," and others. Their creation has significantly increased the number of virtual visits to the official website of the library, which are the highest in the republic among public libraries. The director pays special attention to the research, publishing, and socio-cultural activities of the institution, supporting its status as the main regional information center. Tatyana Adamyan is the author of several scientific publications on library issues in domestic and Russian professional periodicals.

The celebration concluded with congratulations to the staff, who value and are proud of their leader.
