The director of one of Novopolotsk enterprises has been arrested for taking a bribe, the Novopolotsk inter-district department of the Department of Financial Investigations of the State Control Committee for the Vitebsk region informed a BELTA correspondent. The head of the state enterprise is accused of receiving an illegal reward of 500 euros for favorably resolving issues related to the lease of warehouse premises located on the enterprise's territory, without the official registration of contractual relations with the tenant, which is required in such cases. The Novopolotsk inter-district department of the Department of Financial Investigations has initiated a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 430 of the Criminal Code of Belarus "Taking a bribe," which provides for punishment up to 7 years of imprisonment.-0-
