The director of a repair and construction enterprise in Novopolotsk stole spare parts worth Br12.5 million for the repair of his car, the Novopolotsk City Department of Internal Affairs informed a BELTA correspondent. The head was an avid hunter. This hobby required not only a rifle but also a means of transportation, and the latter, in turn, required constant repairs. In order to save personal funds, the man decided to use parts intended for the repair of service vehicles and wrote off the necessary spare parts using fictitious documents. For embezzlement through abuse of office, committed on a large scale, a criminal case has been initiated against the director under Part 3 of Article 210 of the Criminal Code, which provides for up to 10 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.-0-
