The directors of 12 enterprises were recognized as the best managers of the Vitebsk region based on the results of 2018
The Vitebsk Regional Union of Employers (VOSN) has summed up the results of the traditional competitions for the honorary titles "Best Manager of the Year", "Best Design Engineer", and "Best Research Developer" based on the work results for 2018, as reported by the Chairman of VOSN Vladimir Turavinov.
The list of best managers includes directors of 12 enterprises and organizations from Vitebsk, Polotsk, Orsha, Chashniki, and Postavy districts. These are Andrey Korobkov (Production Department "Vitebskgaz" of RUP "Vitebskoblgaz"), Leonid Yakovlev (RUP "Vitebsk Agency for State Registration and Land Cadastre"), Alexander Voitenkov (OJSC "Design Bureau "Display"), Ilya Glushonok (UP ZhKH Postavsky District), Vasily Drobotov (OJSC "Polotsktransneft Druzhba"), Alexander Bazylyenko (Branch "Lukomlskaya GRES" of RUP "Vitebskenergo", Chashniki District), Alexander Koltunov (Branch "Goryany-Agro" of OJSC "Polotsk KHP"), Petr Mazur (Polotsk track section of Vitebsk branch of Belarusian Railway), Sergey Sukhodolov (Orsha Forestry), Pavel Yakovlev (Vitebsk Center for Standardization, Metrology and Certification), Oleg Shimchenko (OJSC "Vitebsk Tractor Parts Plant"), Ivan Pinchuk (SOOO "Forteks-Water Technologies").
The recipients of the honorary title "Best Design Engineer of Vitebsk Region 2018" are Dmitry Podolinsky, Head of the Automated Control Systems Department of the Production Department of Information Technologies and Prospective Development of Gas Facilities of RUP "Vitebskoblgaz", and Elena Stankevich, Design Engineer of the Design Department of OJSC "Polotsk-Steklovolokno". In 2018, Elena Stankevich carried out the most significant work on the development of the electromechanical part of about ten investment projects implemented at the enterprise, including the reconstruction of four furnaces, the installation of a glass melting unit, the expansion of the glass bead workshop, and the optimization of the production of fiberglass products and consumer goods. The best research developer is Vitaly Okulich, Associate Professor of the Department of Clinical Microbiology of Vitebsk State Medical University, Candidate of Medical Sciences. In his
has over 350 scientific publications, 15 patents, and 140 rationalization proposals. Under his supervision, students have repeatedly achieved success in the republican student scientific work competition and have been awarded the V.F. Kuprevich prize of the National Academy of Sciences.
Laureates of honorary titles are awarded a certificate of honor and a valuable gift. The honoring of winners of regional competitions will take place at the next event of the VOSN. The Vitebsk Regional Union of Employers was established in 1999. Today, the non-profit partnership unites over 400 enterprises and organizations of the real economy sector. Competitions for awarding honorary titles are held to stimulate the improvement of the business qualifications and professionalism of the director corps, to enhance the prestige of scientific and engineering professions, and to stimulate the initiative of researchers and engineering and technical workers in the development and implementation of innovations.
