A board of directors for the city's machine-building enterprises is being created in Orsha

November 28, Orsha / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. A council of directors of the city's machine-building enterprises is being established in Orsha. This was announced today to journalists by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Kosinets, during a visit to OJSC "Orshaagroprommash", according to a BELTA correspondent. The council will include the heads of OJSC "Orshaagroprommash", "Krasny Borets" plant, "Orshansky Instrumental Plant", and "Legmash". The main task of the directors will be to develop a strategy for the production of new import-substituting equipment in demand by the national economy, and the production cooperation of these enterprises. The first example of such business cooperation between Orsha's machine-building enterprises is the multifunctional trailer "Dnepr", developed and created by OJSC "Orshaagroprommash". Thanks to its transformer sides, the "Dnepr" trailer with a volume of 15 cubic meters can be used as an organic fertilizer spreader, for transporting bulk cargo (sand, grain), silage, and for other purposes. The tests were successful. There are no analogues of this equipment in the republic. The price of such a trailer is Br40 million lower than that of foreign suppliers. The new equipment is assembled almost entirely from domestic components manufactured at "Orshaagroprommash" and other Orsha enterprises. According to Alexander Kosinets, in 2010 the enterprise will receive an order for the production of 300 "Dnepr" spreaders. In an interview with a BELTA correspondent, the enterprise's director, Igor Sinyakov, noted that such an order will allow for a threefold increase in the utilization of production capacities. According to him, this is not the first new product this year. Previously, the enterprise mastered the overhaul of PRT-7 and PRT-10 organic fertilizer spreaders (equivalent to development) and two trailers of various designs for the transportation and distribution of feed on livestock farms. OJSC "Orshaagroprommash" specializes in the production of agricultural machinery. Over 270 people work at the plant. In January-October, the enterprise produced 27% more products than in the same period last year. Inventory levels are within normal limits. -0-
