Designers from the Vitebsk region took prize-winning places at the republican competition «Fashion Silhouette»

The final stage of the republican competition of fashion designers, clothing designers "Fashion Silhouette" was held in Minsk. It was attended by fashion designers and clothing designers working in consumer services organizations of the republic, as well as those engaged in individual entrepreneurial activities in the service sector, creative teams of consumer services organizations of the republic, and students of educational institutions.

The final stage of the republican competition of fashion designers and clothing designers "Fashion Silhouette" was held in Minsk, with fashion designers participating.

">, clothing designers working in organizations of household services for the population of the republic, as well as carrying out individual entrepreneurial activity in the service sector, creative teams of organizations providing household services to the population of the republic, pupils and studentseducational institutions, training specialists for the sewing sectors of the service industry.

The competition was held in four nominations:

- "Pret-a-porter" - the items presented in the nomination are intended for everyday wear and should be distinguished by realism and compliance with fashion trends;

- "Fashion design" - the items presented in the nomination are intended for catwalk shows and should be distinguished by expression, theatricality, and author's idea;

- "Traditions of the Belarusian costume in a modern look" - the items presented in the nomination are intended for everyday wear and should be distinguished by the use of traditional materials and details of the national Belarusian costume;

- "World of Children's Fashion" - the products presented in this nomination are intended for children and teenagers aged 3 to 15 years and should be distinguished by modern design and combine practicality, comfort, and safety for children's health.

When summing up the results of the competition, the jury focused on the following criteria: originality, expressiveness of the collection's theme disclosure, harmony of costume and image, relevance of the design solution, expressiveness of color embodiment, compliance with modern fashion trends, compliance with modern technological requirements, professional skill, quality of collection execution, spectacularity and theatricality of the show, musical arrangement, and others.

In each nomination, winners for three prize places have been determined, and the Grand Prix winner has been identified. In addition, winners in the special nomination "For a High Level of Professional Skill" have been recognized.

Following the competition results, the jury awarded 3rd place in the "Pret-a-porter" nomination to "Autumn Inspiration" by Pachkovskaya Elena Anatolyevna, and 1st place in the "Fashion Design" nomination to the collection "Kupala Sparks Batik" by Gutnikova Nadezhda Igorevna. The collection "Linen Traditions" by Khomchenko Alla Andreevna was recognized with a winner's diploma in the "For High Level of Professional Skill" nomination.
