December 13, Minsk / Yekaterina Nechayeva - BELTA /. The Central Election Commission of Belarus has accredited 930 international observers to work during the presidential elections. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums of the Republic. According to the CEC, 406 representatives of the OSCE/ODIHR, 257 from the CIS, and 6 from the CIS Permanent Committee intend to monitor the presidential elections. Parliamentarians from other countries are also accredited to participate in the observation (82 representatives of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, 45 from the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, 10 from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia, and 11 observers from the parliaments of foreign countries). 24 representatives of foreign Central Election Commissions and 48 representatives of diplomatic and consular missions of foreign states intend to observe the presidential elections in Belarus.
