Dmitry Demidov voted early in the presidential election of the Republic of Belarus

Дмитрий Демидов досрочно проголосовал на выборах Президента Республики Беларусь
Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies Dmitry Demidov voted early at his polling station.

He assessed the voters' activity during this campaign as high, which is confirmed by monitoring. People of different ages are going to the polling stations both in cities and in rural areas. The elections are taking place in an atmosphere of high civic and patriotic uplift.

- People understand the importance of this socio-political event, the fulfillment of their civic duty and their choice, - noted the head of the region's deputy corps. - Early voting is proceeding at a high organizational level. I am confident that the main election day will proceed in the same way, and even better.

Dmitry Demidov talked with young people voting for the first time. He recalled how, as a student, he voted in the first presidential election of the Republic of Belarus in 1994. He admitted that at that time he did not fully realize how epochal an event it was. Life has shown that the choice made then by him and the majority of participants in the electoral campaign turned out to be the right one. Its outcome became the starting point for building a strong, beautiful, independent Republic of Belarus.

An unexpected, but very telling meeting was with voters from the older generation: twin sisters Lyudmila Zaretskaya and Nina Volkova. On January 1, they both turned 78 years old. Despite their age, they are keenly interested in domestic politics and are ardent patriots of their country. Dmitry Demidov thanked them for their work for the benefit of the country and for their involvement in the processes taking place in the country.

As chairman of the regional organization of the public association "Belaya Rus", Dmitry Demidov presented memorable gifts to the young voters and the twins.
