Дмитрий Демидов провел единый день информирования в ОАО «Нафтан»
As part of the unified information day, a meeting was held at Naftan OJSC between the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Organization of the Republican Public Association "Belaya Rus", member of the Supreme Political Council of the Belarusian Party, Dmitry Demidov, and the labor collective of the petrochemical complex. The event, themed "We are together forever: towards the 85th anniversary of the reunification of Western Belarus and the BSSR," was also attended by the Chairman of the Novopolotsk City Executive Committee, Igor Burmistrov, and the General Director of Naftan OJSC, Oleg Zhebin.

In his speech, the head of the Vitebsk region's deputy corps spoke about the difficult and dramatic path of the Belarusian people to unity and the creation of a sovereign state, emphasizing the close connection between the past and the present. Using vivid visual materials, Dmitry Vladimirovich highlighted the importance of remembering one's history and honoring national traditions, especially in the face of external threats and modern challenges.

– Now, in the context of the full-scale hybrid war waged against us, our country is selflessly defending historical memory and truth, – said Dmitry Demidov. – We will never be indifferent to attempts to justify the bloody raids of militants and the murder of civilians, to desecrate the memory of our compatriots. We must remember the grief of our ancestors, the joy of the liberators and the liberated, the betrayal of scoundrels, and the triumph of justice.

The unity of our people has been severely tested more than once. Disunity led to the woes and suffering of millions, to a national tragedy. But when we are united, we invariably achieve success. Therefore, it is so important today to perceive ourselves as a united people, to remember that each stage of our history is an integral element of the solid foundation on which we are building our future.
