National Cuisine Days and the Flax Festival will be held in Vitebsk during the "Slavianski Bazaar".

February 15, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. National Cuisine Days will be held in Vitebsk restaurants during the XIX International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk". Their holding is included in the plans for the preparation of the regional center for the main cultural event of the region, the head of the culture department of the city executive committee Natalya Shienok told a BELTA correspondent. The Vitebsk City Executive Committee has approved a plan for city-wide events and a plan for the development of infrastructure and landscaping for the arts festival. In particular, along with national cuisine days, the flax festival will be held again in the city, the City of Craftsmen will operate as always, which will be attended by artisans from all over the region. The plan also includes a theatrical performance with the participation of historical reconstruction clubs, sports events, and concerts by amateur artists on open city grounds. The infrastructure development and landscaping plan includes a set of measures aimed at preparing accommodation, catering, and leisure facilities for guests. Objects for capital and current repairs have been identified. Moreover, it is not only about the central streets, but also about city highways leading to intercity routes. A list of landscaping works in the historical part of the regional center, as well as in parks and public recreation areas, has been determined. The plan also sets tasks for services ensuring people's safety and health: the Ministry of Emergency Situations, law enforcement agencies, and medical institutions. As Natalya Shienok emphasized, these plans are open-ended. As they are practically implemented, they will be supplemented, and new projects may be included in them. -0-
