Days of Christian Culture will be held in the Vitebsk region on the eve of Christmas and New Year holidays

December 16, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. The "Days of Christian Culture" festival will be held in the Vitebsk region on the eve of Christmas and New Year holidays, the Vitebsk Catholic Diocese informed a BELTA correspondent. The festival is designed to remind everyone that kindness and love are always with us. The event includes a whole kaleidoscope of exhibitions of children's drawings and established professional artists dedicated to the magic of Christmas, as well as concerts of Christmas songs. They will be held everywhere in all Catholic parishes of the Vitebsk region. One of the most striking and interesting events of the "Days of Christian Culture" will be the batleyka competition, which will take place on December 29 at the Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov. 10 children's groups from parishes of the Vitebsk diocese will present puppet shows. The best participants will be awarded prizes. Christmas holidays are a time when special attention should be paid to the sick and lonely people, and especially children. Therefore, during this period, Catholic clergy, together with their parishioners, will hold a series of charity events for children from orphanages and organize festive concerts in hospitals, the diocese reported. -0-
