The Dokshytsy department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Security Department of the Republic of Belarus was recognized as the best in the country among rural units based on the results of 2012.
The "Crystal Owl," traditionally awarded to the best guards, became the second in the department's collection. In 2011, they took second place and received a computer as a gift. This year, for their work achievements, the Dokshytsy guards were awarded an Opel Astra car.
By the way, the Dokshytsy District Department of the Security Department was established in 1976. Today, it employs over 100 people, including 35 police officers. The organization is self-sufficient and financially independent due to its security activities.
– Every victory is, first and foremost, the daily active work of the entire team in expanding the scope of security services, preventing crimes and offenses, and implementing modern technical security means, – says the head of the district department, police major Alyaksandr Palidavets. – We protect 358 objects of various forms of ownership. 187 premises of personal property of citizens and 159 objects of remote surveillance. These are retail outlets and administrative buildings. 12 objects are guarded by watchmen. During 2012, 22 new objects of various forms of ownership, 5 manual alarm buttons, and 49 private apartments of citizens were taken under protection. 2 objects were taken under physical protection. Work is carried out using modern technology: automated systems "Alesya" and "Navatech-RDO." Where stationary telephone communication is unavailable, the latest "Alarm-GSM" system is used.
The department's employees are actively working to improve the crime situation in the district. Police officers have solved 16 crimes, stopped two attempts to penetrate guarded facilities, and identified 759 administrative offenses. In order to combat drunkenness and alcoholism, 1450 liters of moonshine mash were confiscated during raid activities.
Income from security activities allows for the full provision of the material and technical base. The branch is located in a renovated building with a well-maintained territory.
