The share of local fuel types in the housing and communal services system of the Vitebsk region will increase to 70% by the end of the year

The meeting discussed the implementation of the state program "Comfortable Housing and a Favorable Environment" for 2016-2020. Addressing issues of modernization and increasing the efficiency of heat supply, Yuri Dyadelo reported that for 9 months of 2016, the share of local types of fuel in the region's balance was 66.8%, and by the end of the year, this figure will increase to 70%. As for the plans for the next year, the task is to increase the share of local types of fuel used to 75%. To achieve this goal, the reconstruction of five boiler houses with the installation of boilers running on local types of fuel with a total capacity of 28 MW is planned. In the current year, housing and communal services enterprises have reconstructed three heat sources with the installation of boilers running on local types of fuel (with mechanized loading) with a total capacity of 8 MW.

 

– At the modernized boiler house in Vitebsk, as an experiment, condensation heat recovery units have been used, which increase the efficiency of boilers running on wood chips by 6%, thereby reducing the specific fuel consumption per 1 Gcal to 159 kg of equivalent fuel. This is comparable to gas boilers, – noted the head of the department.

 

He added that in the current year, in addition to the task, the reconstruction of a gas boiler house in the Orsha district (Andreevshchina village) has begun. The modernization, which will be completed in the 4th quarter of 2016, involves the installation of two boilers with a capacity of 5 MW, running on wood chips. In addition, the region is modernizing small boiler houses, installing more efficient equipment – pellet boilers that operate without personnel. This year, the installation of such equipmentoccurs in Dubrovensky, Lepelsky, Lioznensky, Orshansky, Senno, Sharkovshchinsky, and Shumilinsky districts.

 

– To increase efficiency, optimization of heat supply schemes was carried out with the closure of five boiler houses. The region has fully completed the task of replacing heat networks – work has been done on more than 70 km of heat pipelines, – stated Yuri Dyadelo.
