Additional parking lots will be organized for guests of the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" festival.
July 7, Minsk /BELTA/. The State Automobile Inspectorate will work in an enhanced mode during the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" arts festival to ensure road safety. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the traffic police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus.
Traffic police officers from the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, crews from the special road patrol service unit "Strela" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and, if necessary, territorial units from other regions will be involved in round-the-clock patrolling of Vitebsk streets.
During the events scheduled as part of the festival program, road traffic will be restricted on the streets adjacent to the amphitheater. The restrictions will affect Freedom Square, Frunze Avenue (section from Freedom Square to Dovator Street), Zamkovaya Street (section from Lenin Street to Pushkin Street), and Lenin Street (section from Pravda Street to Ya. Kupala Street).
The State Automobile Inspectorate recommends that residents of Vitebsk and guests of the city choose routes that do not involve traveling on the aforementioned streets, refrain from using personal vehicles, and also be disciplined and observe traffic rules. Vehicles parked in violation of the requirements of established road signs and markings will be towed. Additional parking lots will be organized for festival attendees on Pobedy Street, Dovator Street, Khmelnitsky Street, Kalinin Street, Gogol Street, and near the Palace of Culture of Trade Unions. -0-
