Roads, everyday issues, and employment – Anatoly Linevich held a reception for citizens in Orsha

Residents of Orsha and Orsha District addressed issues concerning roads, household matters, and employment requests to the President's Aide – Inspector for the Vitebsk Region Anatoly Livnevich during a direct telephone line and a citizens' reception today.

The reception began with telephone calls. Residents of several villages (Dachnaya, Romaldovo, Agronomicheskaya) raised similar issues: they asked for help with arranging streets in their settlements, improving road surfaces in some places, and addressing the lack of lighting and sidewalks in others. People had approached local authorities, but no concrete solution has been found yet. The President's Aide assured that the villagers' problems would be considered, and they would be informed about the steps taken to resolve them.

A resident of Orsha came to the reception with a personal issue. Her ex-husband has not paid alimony since 2017. After the woman contacted law enforcement agencies, the man was located in Podolsk (Russia). Now she is seeking assistance from the Russian side to ensure that the irresponsible spouse repays the owed money. This matter will be addressed to the Ministry of Justice, and its resolution will be monitored.

Another city resident asked for help with employment after being dismissed from bus depot No. 3, where she worked as a cleaner at a car market. According to the woman, she was illegally deprived of her job after a conflict with her supervisor. Anatoly Linevich promised that this issue would be investigated and the decision would be communicated. If it is not possible to arrange employment at her previous workplace, they will help find a new one.

Speaking to journalists, the President's aide noted that the previous reception of citizens in Orsha was not long ago – on February 11. Not everyone managed to sign up last time, so it was decided to hold a meeting a month later. "Residents of the Orsha district are traditionally active, they address various issues. There are no repeated appeals, some residents already come to thank us for the organized work. I hope that other problems will also be considered in a short period of time, and relevant instructions have been given and are under control for many of them," said Anatoly Linevich.

More than 30 people signed up for the reception with the President's aide in Orsha. Issues of settlement improvement, the work of law enforcement agencies and housing and communal services organizations, as well as land and housing problems were raised.
