Roads, water supply and preservation of the agricultural complex – Andreichenko held a reception of citizens in Ushachi
The first to address was a resident of the village of Lutovo Seltso. He asked to asphalt Central Street in the settlement, its length is 1 km. Vladimir Andreichenko said that, based on finances, they will try to lay asphalt next year. The villager also complained about the poor quality of water in the public wells. This problem will be solved within March.
Five female employees of the Sorochino pig farm came with a collective appeal. They want to close the production site, and people are asking to preserve it: it provides jobs for local residents and surrounding villages. The parent enterprise, Vitebsk Grain Processing Plant, plans to relocate the livestock to another site in the Beshenkovichi district for better logistics. This will cause inconvenience for the workers: it will be difficult to get to work. "The pig farm must operate. Work out options for its preservation, and we will make a decision," the Chairman of the House of Representatives told the local authorities.
Speaking to journalists, Vladimir Andreichenko noted that people positively assess the receptions in district centers by heads of republican authorities. The structure of citizens' appeals is changing: attention is focused on the quality of certain services and infrastructure improvement. "Much has been done, including by local authorities. But there is a serious issue – employment. Reducing workers at production facilities is unacceptable, but it is also incorrect to say that we should solve all issues at the macro level. The state has done everything to develop local production, a legislative framework has been created, so local authorities need to show initiative in this matter," the Speaker of the House of Representatives noted.
He added that recently great attention has been paid to social facilities. A sports complex has been built in Ushachi, a hospital, a museum, kindergartens have been renovated, and an art school has been built.
Today, Vladimir Andreichenko also received citizens with questions about employment and appealing court sentences. A resident of Baranovichi brought proposals for amendments to the Criminal Code and the law on countering extremism.
