Early voting for the Presidential election starts in Belarus
Polling stations will be open from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 19:00. No official confirmation of the reasons why a person cannot vote on the main day is required. Voters must have their passport with them. A ballot is also issued upon presentation of a military ID (for conscripts), an official ID of a state body (organization) employee, or a driver's license. It is also possible to vote with a pension certificate, a disability certificate (if it contains a photograph), or a student ID. If a voter has lost their passport or it has been stolen, they must bring a certificate from the internal affairs bodies confirming the citizen's identity to the polling station.
Early voting is not conducted at polling stations established in sanatoriums, health resorts, rest homes, hospitals, and other healthcare organizations providing inpatient medical care. There are 231 such facilities in Belarus. A total of 5,767 polling stations have been established, including 44 outside the country.
6,844,932 citizens are included in the voter lists.
