The "Slavianski Bazaar" bid farewell to its audience with soulful songs by beloved artists
The closing ceremony concert of the forum took place in the Summer Amphitheatre on the night of July 16-17. Accompanied by the magnificent performance of the BEL SUONO piano trio, footage of the festival city and events that unfolded on the main stage venues during the forum days flashed across the stage screens. This slightly sad, nostalgic note was present throughout the entire musical program, giving everyone present a delightful feeling of belonging to the festival.
The main event of the program was the award ceremony for the winners of the XXVII International Pop Song Performers Contest "Vitebsk-2018". The Grand Prix and the "Golden Lyre" were won by Romanian Marcel Roșca.
The audience warmly welcomed Robertino
Loretti, "Pesniary", Alexander Solodukha, Alexey Khlestov, Inna
Afanasyeva, Tamara Gverdtsiteli, Alexander Malinin, and other star performers
who have long and firmly won the love and recognition of the people.
Alexander Morozov sincerely rejoiced at another warm meeting with the audience. "The greatest happiness for a composer is to know that his songs are loved and sung by the people. And here stands the happiest person in the world," the artist emphasized, inviting the audience to guess some of his compositions. However, the audience didn't need to guess; they knew all the songs that Alexander Morozov began to play and gladly sang them. "It's bright in my room," "Raspberry Chime," "My Soul Aches" - each of the songs included in the medley was immediately picked up by the hall. "Thank you for such a gift!" he thanked his devoted fans for their sincerity.
of his creativity, the composer.Vika Tsyganova performed one of her major hits, "Come to My House." "We need to meet more often, I missed you. A lot has changed in recent years, but the "Slavianski Bazaar" and the love of its viewers remain unchanged," admitted Vika Tsyganova.
Along with the timeless hits of past years, popular hits from artists of the new generation were also performed that night - Max Barskih, THE PARAKIT, Artem Pivovarov, Tayana, Olga Polyakova, the group "Drozdы", Marina Devyatova. The enchanting finale of the concert was the performance of the Kuban Cossack Choir, whose artists struck sparks both literally (with sabers in dance) and figuratively (with the overwhelming emotions of the audience). And now the very last touching farewell to the audience is complete. The summer fairy tale of the XXVII International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" is over, although its echoes will still be heard in the coming days with several concerts in the amphitheater.
