Two new residents have been registered in the Vitebsk Free Economic Zone

As reported to "Vitebskiye Vesti" by the investment and economic department of the FEZ administration, one of the newcomers – CJSC "Ingrida Nafta" – was established with the participation of Latvian capital. The enterprise will implement a project to organize the production of hydrocarbon components (additives) that improve the quality of automotive fuel at one of the FEZ sites in the regional center.

In Orsha, a production of high-pressure hoses used in hydraulic systems of various machines and mechanisms will be established. The project will be implemented by JV LLC "Manuli Hydraulics Manufacturing Bel", established with the participation of Italian capital.

Thus, today in the FEZ "Vitebsk", fifty-one legal entities have the status of a resident, while in 2013, seven business entities were deprived of this status, which became a kind of record for the entire existence of the FEZ.

According to the results of nine months, resident enterprises directed 52.3 million dollars to development, of which over 72% were investments in fixed capital. They exported products worth almost 245 million dollars, imports exceeded 191 million dollars, and the foreign trade balance was positive at 54 million dollars. In total, since the beginning of the year, residents have created more than 210 jobs.
