Participants of the Vitebsk region's labor semester won two challenge banners and more than half of the awards
The results that the guys bring back from the All-Belarusian Student Teams Rally speak for themselves every year about how the student team movement of the Vitebsk region is organized. This time it was called "Youth. Labor. Romance" and brought together more than 400 participants of the forum.
The most exciting part was the awards ceremony, which took place at the National Library. And it was practically impossible to knock our guys off the pedestal. The challenge banner for the best student team was awarded to the construction team "Evrika" of Polotsk State University. It became the best in the country among those who worked at the sites of the All-Belarusian Youth Construction Project. University students Ivan Savchenko and Alexey Korotkiy were recognized as the best commander and commissar.
The construction team "Zodchie" of the same university also became the best, and their commander Nikita Zubovich was awarded the highest award.
The best in the republic based on the results of the work semester were named the commander of the construction team "Ermak" Alexander Lovtsevich (regional headquarters of BRSM student teams), commissars of the construction team named after Hero of the Soviet Union, partisan Lenya Golikov Evgeny Sachko (territorial headquarters of student teams of the Railway district organization of BRSM Vitebsk), production team "Molodezhny" Daniil Kutskho (territorial headquarters of student teams of the Postavy district organization of BRSM), ecological team "Agrarochka" Victoria Vasilenok (territorial headquarters of student teams of the Polotsk district organization of BRSM), medical team "Medik" Alena Petukhova (the same headquarters).
The challenge banner for the best host organization was transferred to the agricultural branch "Teplichny" of RUP "Vitebskenergo". Every year, the enterprise employs more than five hundred young men and women.
The best in the country were the regional, Vitebsk city, Polotsk district headquarters, and the work affairs headquarters of the primary organization of BRSM Vitebsk State Technical College.
Also, the honorary award — "Honorary Badge of Belarusian Student Brigades" — was presented to Victoria Kuzheleva, commander of the regional headquarters of student brigades, Nikolai Fominov, director of the "Teplichny" branch of RUP "Vitebskenergo," and Boris Ryklin, an eight-time commander of zonal headquarters of student brigades.
— This work semester is special for us, — noted Victoria Kuzheleva. — So many awards are the result of joint work. And an incentive to move forward. — This time, about 5200 people worked in the region as part of construction, agricultural, pedagogical, environmental, and service student brigades. — Young people took part in the work at the All-Belarusian Youth Construction Project, in the construction of socially significant facilities in the region, were involved in the improvement of the regions, and worked in health camps. For the first time in the last 10 years, our student brigade members went to work in the Republic of Moldova as part of an agricultural brigade. In the Russian Federation, the brigade members worked as part of pedagogical, service, and construction brigades. We have already set goals for the upcoming work semester. One of the main ones is to maintain the decent level we have now and strive for new heights.
